In the iodised wake of the Women Musicians Encounters on the Isle of Ushant, known as the Island of Women, AR RE-SE ("those ladies" in Breton language) is the first all-female record label. The releases on this label enable women artists to record an original, perhaps even previously unpublished, repertoire that reflects the dynamics of AR RE-SE and the very reason it exists.
